Hollywood Patrick?

I was approached by a producer of a documentary to be the police expert for a case that will be a documentary on Tubi T.V. next summer / fall. It is the case of Jeremy and Julene Simko. Julene was tried and sentenced for the murder of her husband Jeremy. It took the police over five years to build a case against Julene and there all kinds of odd circumstances surrounding this homicide. It was lots of fun for me, and it looks like I might be doing more of these gigs in the future. I will include a picture of me looking “cop like” during the interview.

The Creative Penn

I was lucky enough to be a guest on Joanna Penn’s Podcast, The Creative Penn. This was my second time on the show, and we chatted about all things writing, starting over with a new career as a writer after finishing up a 25 year career in law enforcement and networking ideas for authors. Joanna is wonderful and I so enjoyed being on her show.

Wish I’d Known Then

Hopefully I will see all of you next year at Author Nation Live!

What are you reading?

I’m very curious to see what you guys are reading or listening to these days. As for me? Man Uncivilized by Traver Boehm and Leadership Strategy and Tactics by Jocko Willink were the last two I listened to. I’m always looking for a good suggestion. I think my next one will be Arnold Schwarzeneggers, Be Useful. Let me know in the comments what you think of my news, and if you’ve got any recommended books!

Slainte!
